Uranium Corporation of India to expand Turamdih Uranium Mining Project located at East Singhbum district of Jharkhand. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is to be expanded from 750 tpd to 1500 tpd and the ore processing plant from 3000 tpd to 4500 tpd. It is proposed to undertake mechanized, underground by cut and fill method mining.
