Rungta Mines to expand Kanther Koira Manganese Ore Mining Project in Village Kanther-Koira, Tehsil Bonai in Sundergarh district of Orissa. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is to be expanded from 3000tonnes per annum(TPA) to 20,025TPA of manganese ore. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 9.0 million. It may be noted, a part of the Bhawanipur Reserve forest falls in the core zone of the mine lease area.
