Oil India to carry out exploratory drilling at PEL Block in Lohit district in Assam. The project involves drilling one exploratory well up to depth of 4200-5500 m. Estimated original oil in place (OOIP) is 11.80 MMT and gross ultimate recovery (GUR) will be 3.54 MMT. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 350 million.
