Jay Polychem India to construct 13 exploratory wells in Onshore blocks in Anand

Jay Polychem India Ltd is planning to construct exploratory wells in onshore block CB-ONN-2009/8 in Dholka in Ahmedabad, Anand districts of Gujarat. Petroleum Exploration License (PEL) awarded by the Government of India to start exploration activities to M/s Jay Polychem (India) Ltd on 22nd October, 2010. The company will drill 13 exploratory wells and the project is estimated at USD 13 million.

Selan Exploration Technology to construct development wells in Cambay basin onshore

Selan Exploration Technology Ltd is planning to take up construction of 14 appraisal and development wells in Lohar Oil & Gas field Block, Cambay Basin (On-shore) in Mehesana district of Gujarat. The Lohar oil & gas field block was awarded to SELAN Exploration Technology Ltd. for development & production of Oil & Gas by Govt. Of India and Production Sharing Contract had been signed in 1995. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 730 million.

ONGC to explore for oil and gas at Kadi-Asjol and Jotana Ext-III

 

ONGC to explore for oil and gas at Kadi-Asjol and Jotana Ext-III in Mehesana district of Gujarat in Western on shore basin. Both the blocks are part of Cambay Basin.  Both the PELs are located in District Mehsana, Gujarat. The company proposed to drill two exploratory wells (one well in each PEL) in the above mentioned PEL Blocks. Location of proposed exploratory wells is firmed up after interpretation of 2D/3D seismic data. The well no. HND-1 will be drilled in Kadi-Asjol PEL and well no. JNXK in Jotana Ext.-III PEL. For drilling of said wells on 110M X 110M land area is acquired on temporary basis, If oil or hydrocarbons are found then 30M x 30M area of land shall be kept and remaining land shall be returned to land owners.  Total area of above PELs is 96.8 sq. km. The area of KADI-ASJOL PEL is 92.00 sq. Km. and Jotana Ext.-III PEL is 4.8 sq. km. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 60 million.

Joshi Technology International to drill 6 wells in Dholka


Joshi Technology International to drill 6 wells in Dholka in Cambay basin in Rasikapura, Varsang and Radhu villages in Kheda district of Gujarat with an investment of Rs. 400 million. 5 out of the 6 infill locations are only within 4-5 km2 of the 48 km2 block area. 3 out of 6 proposed wells i.e. NW-22, NW 11 and NW 23 are within fenced areas of existing wells and do not require additional land. The wells will be drilled up to a depth of 1850 m.

NaftoGaz India to undertake exploratory drilling at block AA-ONN-2004/4 in Assam


NaftoGaz India to undertake exploratory drilling at block AA-ONN-2004/4  in Assam located in District Tinsukia. The block is surrounded by tea estate gardens like powai and upper Dihing forest falls in north and Margherita, Lekhajan, Namdang and Ledo forest in South.  It is proposed to drill 6 exploratory wells in the block. The average depth of the wells will be 2500-3000m below ground level and water based drilling fluid will be used.  The drilling for each well would be 30- 40 days. The cost of Geophysical, Geological and Satellite Survey will be Rs. 24.00 crores and for exploratory drilling will be Rs. 84.00 crores.
