Bhushan Power & Steel to operate Chatuburu Iron & Manganese Ore Minng Project, located at , village Chatubur Mauza, in Singhbum district of Jharkhand. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 1.65 mtpa. The project also involves setting up of crushing and screening plant. . The iron ore from this mine will be used for their steel plant located at a distance of 175 km. It may be noted, the mine is located within the Singhbhum Elephant Reserve.
