Central Coalfields to carry out coal block mining at Laiyo mines located at Hazaribagh in Jharkhand. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 0.44 mtpa. It may be noted, the mine was closed in 2005. Now, mining would be done underground with y Bord & pillar involving depillaring by caving. The project is located adjoining River Bokaro and Chutua Nal.
