Kantilal & Co to open Molha Advona Concramali Iron Ore Mine located at village Sancordem in Sanguem taluk in South Goa district of Goa. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 0.10 mtpa from a mineable reserves of 5.548 mt. It will use manual open cast mining with no blasting operations. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 72 million. The company is also planning to open Melca Dongar Iron & Manganese Ore Mine at village Sancordem at Sanguem taluk. The project is to carry out mining of manganese at a rated capacity of 0.015 mtpa while that of iron ore at 0.085 mta from mineable reserves of 8.65 mt.
