Ashapura Minechem to expand is bauxite mining capacity

Ashapura Minechem is expanding its Umbershet Bauxite mine from 0.036 mtpa to 0.226 mtpa at village Umbershet in Dapoli taluk in district Ratnagiri of Maharashtra. It will be a open cast mine using drilling and blasting upto a depth of 242 m above msl. The company is also expanding its Rowale Bauxite Mine from 0.06 mtpa to 0.25 mtpa at village Rowale in Dapoli taluk.
