South Eastern Coalfields to expand Behraband UG Mine located at Annupur district of Madhya Pradesh. The proposed rated capacity fo the mine is to be expanded from 0.36 mtpa to 0.6 mtpa. . The Coal mined is to be transported to Bijuri Railway siding by trucks covering a distance of 8.5 km. Fixed water sprinklers over 800m of the road length along the coal stockyard (1000 TPD) and along road transport have been commissioned already.
Rio Tinto Exploration to set up beneficiation plant for Bunder Prospecting Block, located at Chhattarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. It is to set up a bulk sample processing plant for beneficiation of samples raised during prospecting of kimberlite. The rated annual processing capacity is 25,000 tonnes.
M.P. State Mining Corporation to expand Chachandeeh Bauxite Mine located at Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is to be expanded from 1,25,000 TPA to 5,00,000 TPA. The mine working will be opencast by semi-mechanised method involving drilling and blasting and the life of mine will be 19 years.
Jaiprakash Associates to open a new mine at Majhagawan (extention) located at Siddhi district of Madhya Pradesh. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 0.5 mtpa. It will use open cast mechanized mining with blasting operations.
Shree Krishna Mining & Trading Syndicate to carry out mining at Jagantola Manganese Mining Project located at village Jagantola in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 7000 tpa of manganese ore. It will use open cast mechanized mining with blasting operations. It may be noted, the mines was shut down in 1972 and was not in operation since.
