Jharkhand State Mineral Development Corporation to expand production of Kyanite, located in East Singhbum district of Jharkhand. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is to be expanded from 4600 tpa to 12000 tpa. It will use open cast mechanized mining technology with blasting operations
Uranium Ore Corp of India to expand Narwapahar mine located at Singhbum in Jharkhand from 1000 tpd (0.3 mtpa) to 1500 tpd (.45 mtpa. It will undertake mechanized underground horizontal cut and filling method of mining. . The ore will be transported to Uranium Mill at Jaduguda at a distance of about 10 km
Jharkhand State Mineral Development Corporation to carry out mining at Semra-Salatua limestone mining project located at Semra-Salatua villages in Palamau district of Jharkhand. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 1,20,000 tpa. It will use open cast semi-mechanized mining involving drilling and blasting.
ACC Chaibasa Cement Works to carry out mining at Dewarkhand (Khalari) Limestone Mines located at village Dewarkhand in Ranchi district of Jharkhand. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 72,000 tpa. It may be noted, the mine was closed in 2001 and was not in operation since. The limestone mined will be used for their captive cement plant at Khalari.
ACC Chaibasa Cement works to carry out mining at Umedanda (Sarle) Limestone Mines, located at village Umedanda in Ranchi district of Jharkhand. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 1,50,000 tpa. It may be noted, the mine was closed in 2001 and was not opened since.
