Bengal Emta Coal Mines to carry out mining at Pachwara (North) Block opencast in Amrapara in Pakur district of Jharkhand. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 15 mtpa. The project will use surface miner to extract coal, however, OB would be removed by Shovel-dumper. It may be noted, the coal block has been allotted to three companies - West Bengal Power Dev. Corp. Ltd., Durgapur Projects Ltd. and Eastern Minerals & Trading Agency
