Manganese Ore India to expand Balaghat ore mine located in Village(s) Bharveli, Hirapur, Manegaon, Manjhara, Awalajhari and Tawejhari in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh. The project involves expansion of production of manganese ore from 0.3 million tonnes per annum (million TPA) to 0.5million TPA and setting up of a beneficiation plant with a capacity of 0.5million TPA through put. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 352 million. It may be noted, Ghisri Nadi and the Wainganga River are flowing in the buffer zone of the mine at distance of 3.5km and 6km respectively from the mine lease boundary.
Manganese Ore (India) to expand Sukli Manganese Ore Mining Project in Village Sukli, Tehsil Katangi in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 15000 tpa. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 17.1 million. It may be noted, The Bawanthari River is flowing in the buffer zone of the mine at a distance of 10km from the mine lease boundary.
Manganese Ore (India) to expand Sitapore Manganese Ore Mining Project in Village Sitapatore, Tehsil Katangi in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 17,000tones per annum (TPA) of manganese ore. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 17.1 million.
Jaiprakash Associates to carry out mining at Hinauti Limestone Mining Project in Village (s) Hinauti, Dengarhat, Biharganj and Jurmani, Tehsil Ramnagar in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 1 mpta . The total quantity of limestone to be produced from all the mines put together for the said cement plant will be limited to 2.52million TPA. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 200 million. It may be noted, the Son River, notified as Crocodile Sanctuary falls within 10 km of the mine lease.
