Maharashtra State Mining Corporation to expand Dongargaon Fluorite Ore Mine in village Dongargaon in Warora taluk in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 121 TPM to 563 TPA. The mineable reserves available is estimated at 4.94 lakh tonnes. Life of the mine at proposed rate of production will be 20 years.
Puntambekar Minerals to expand its bauxite ore mine at Baveli in in Radhanagari & Gaganbawada Taluks in Kolhapur district of Maharashtra. The proposal is for Bauxite ore mining at rated capacity of 0.21 MTPA. The mineable reserves of the ore are estimated as 3.65 MT. Life of the mine at proposed rate of production is estimated around 17 years. Method of mining will be open cast semi-mechanized involving drilling and controlled blasting. It may be noted, The Dhamni River flows at a distance of 2.2 km from the lease and Bhagawati River at 4.56 km from the lease. Tulshi Dam is at 2.4 km from the lease and Radhanagari Dam is at 5.1 km from the lease. Radhanagari Wildlife Sanctuary is at a distance of 3 km, Baveli Reserved Forest is at a distance of 0.15 km and Radhanagri Reserved Forest is at a distance of 3.73 km from the lease.
M/s. Raw and Finished Products to expand North Galel Iron Ore Mine, located in village Galel, in Taluk Sawantwadi in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 0.20 mmtpa and a beneficiation plant also to be set up with a capacity of 0.25 mmtpa.
