Western Coalfields to undertake Patansongi UG mine located at Nagpur district of Maharashtra. The proposed rated capacity fo the mine is to be expanded from 0.25 mtpa to 0.5 mtpa. It will undertake mining by Bord & Pillar process and by stowing and the coal will be transported by aerial ropeway and then by road to MSEB.
