South Eastern Coalfields to expand Amloi Opencast coal mine project located at Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh. The proposed rated capacity fo the mine is to be expanded from 0.7 mtpa to 1.15 mtpa (peak production). Mining will be done by opencast with use of shovel-dumper and dragline. Coal to be transported to common railway siding.
Sasan Power to undertake mining at Chhatrasal Coal Mining Project located at village Sasan in Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 5 mtpa. The project involves both underground and open cast mining. Coal transport to the linked Sasan UMPP located at a distance of 40 km would be by MGR.
Prism Cement to carry out mining at Sial-Ghogri Coal Block located at Parasea tehsil in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 0.30 mtpa. The coal mined will be used for captive use of 2 mtpa Satna cement plant. It will use Bord & Pillar mining. It may be noted, a 3km link road is proposed from ML to connect to the highway to Parasea Railway Station
Western Coalfields to expand Chattarpur mines located at Betul district of Madhya Pradesh. The proposed rated capacity fo the mine is to be expanded from 0.41 mtpa to 1.0 mtpa. The project also involves expansion of both Chhattarpur I & II underground mines and expansion of mining area from 356.37 ha to 825.338 ha
