Susheelanagar Iron Ore Mine to be expanded

Exploration is to be carried out at Susheelanagar Iron Ore Mine at village Susheelanagar, in Sandur Taluk, in Bellary district of Karnataka. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 1.008 mtpa from a mineable reserves 7.0 mt. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 25 million. Method of mining will be open cast mechanised and drilling and controlled blasting will be involved
