Mandovi Pellets to set up high grade iron ore plant at village Santona & Dudhal, Costi in Sanguem Taluk of South Goa district of Goa. The proposed capacity of the iron ore plant is at 500,000 tpa. Iron ore, flux including Limestone, dolomite, and fluorite, coal and binder will be used as raw materials. Iron ore will be sourced from captive iron ore mine at Costi, South Goa. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 3000 million.

Shakti Bauxite mine is to be expanded from 0.10 mtpa to 1.0 mtpa

Shakti Bauxite mine located at village Betul, Naqueri, Morplia, Velim, Fatorpa in Salcete & Quepem taluk in South Goa district of Goa. The mining capacity is to be expanded from current 0.10 mtpa to 1.0 mtpa from a mineable bauxite reserves of 29.373 mt. Mining activity will be carried out at 27 ha. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 73.28 lakhs.

Kantilal & Co is to carry out mining at Gottovo Dongor Iron and Manganese Ore Mine located at village Netrolim in Sanguem taluk in South Goa district of Goa. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 0.067 MTPA and 0.033 MTPA respectively for iron ore and manganese. It may be noted A part of the Gottovo Dongor mining lease area was earlier under the proposed Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary . Now, Salaulim Reservoir is located at a distance of 4.0 km from the lease boundary and Cotigao Wildlife sanctuary is located 3.0 km away from the lease boundary. The mineable reserve is 3.173 MT (Iron and Mn Ores) . Method of mining will be open cast manual. Nominal blasting will be involved. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 8.2 million

Kantilal & Co to open Molha Advona Concramali Iron Ore Mine located at village Sancordem in Sanguem taluk in South Goa district of Goa. The proposed rated capacity of the mine is at 0.10 mtpa from a mineable reserves of 5.548 mt. It will use manual open cast mining with no blasting operations. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 72 million. The company is also planning to open Melca Dongar Iron & Manganese Ore Mine at village Sancordem at Sanguem taluk. The project is to carry out mining of manganese at a rated capacity of 0.015 mtpa while that of iron ore at 0.085 mta from mineable reserves of 8.65 mt. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 65 million
